Nicolas acts as part time Venture Partner of 360° Capital Partners with the goal of scouting investment opportunities for 360 CP in Germany and other German speaking countries and supporting some of the existing portfolio companies with his strategic and business experience. Nicola began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Co in Milan and Munich. In 1997, Nicolas started his successful entrepreneurial career and founded MasterCar – AutoScout24's forerunner. In the CEO position Nicolas led the set-up of the operations in Germany and then the internationalization process which positioned AutoScout24 as one of the leading European Internet car portals. Nicolas successfully exited AutoScout24 in 2009 and since then has acted as business angel and entrepreneur in few new exciting ventures. Nicola holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padoa, Italy and a M.B.A. from INSEAD, France. He enjoys history, international politics, travelling, ancient languages and cultures, unconventional thinking, shark diving and of course his family of four (wife and three kids).
